Recreational Artistic Swimming Programs

West Coast Splash offers recreational artistic swimming programs for all ages and abilities. These fun, supportive classes are a great way to get active, learn new skills and be part of a team.

👉 All you need to start are bathers and goggles.

  West Coast Splash Recreation Classes take place in 4 different locations:

            - Claremont Leisure Centre, Claremont

            - Beatty Park Leisure Centre, North Perth

            - Terry Tyzack Leisure Centre, Inglewood

            - Craigie Leisure Centre, Craigie

Step 1: New to Artistic Swimming? Register First (Insurance Requirement)

Before you choose your class, you must register with Artistic Swimming Australia (ASA).

• Covers your insurance – no swimmer can participate without this

• Registration type: Recreational

Step 2: Choose Your Class

🌊 AquaStART Beginners is the perfect introduction to artistic swimming and essential water safety skills.

• Focus on fun, fitness, and participation

• Must be able to swim 20m (Stage 3+)

• Covers Pathway Skills 1 program

⭐ Recreational Level 1

        - Swimmers learn basic water safety, musicality, and fundamental artistic swimming movements while working towards Star 3 and 4 skills.

• Covers Pathway Skills 2+

• Optional: Rec Starter Pack ($15) – cap, backpack, nose clip

  Recreational Level 2 

          - Focusing on building an artistic technical foundation, speed, flexibility, and mastering Star 1 and 2 skills to prepare swimmers for competitive   club pathways if they choose to transition

• For swimmers who have completed Level 1

• Longer lessons, focus on fitness, synchro skills, and simple routines
  Must complete 1 term of AquaStart Level 1

• Possible pathway into competitive stream

• Entry by coach recommendation

👩‍🦱 Adult Recreation Classes

• Fridays, Claremont Aquatic Centre | 4pm – 5pm

• Try artistic swimming in a fun and welcoming class

Additional Information For All Classes

• Pool entry is not included (paid separately to the venue)

• Two-classes-per-week option available at a discounted rate
